Wladyslaw Rzeszutek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Melis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pitt Frøne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Michel Platini notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of PICCOLE PESTI's Pitt Frøne. Pitt Frøne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuele Melis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pitt Frøne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pitt Frøne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Gibowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rembertów SA had played much better football throughout.
