Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Sundborn IF from getting a goal against them. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Avramescu in the 33rd minute of play. Alf Hansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysmael Marfil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alf Hansson ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moise Vlădean. Ysmael Marfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Ryszard Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petru Avramescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Börje Ekström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sundborn IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DINAMO the free kick. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kalle Askberg. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustin Văduvescu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Hansson in the 49th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Hansson made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Agârbiceanu to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, Sundborn IF's Sven-Olof Stephansson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Vlădean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Holmgren in the 81st minute of play. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Holmgren in the 83rd minute of play. Sundborn IF's Heigo Valt was substituted for Sven-Olof Stephansson. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Leonard Demian got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a little luck, DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil got control of the ball when Kaloyan Mitashev tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Kaloyan Mitashev took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Ysmael Marfil to make any attempt to save it. The DINAMO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sundborn IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Sundborn IF.
