After a rather tough play, Evcilerspor's Abdulbaki Uçma got a free kick in the 27th minute. Rafaela FC's Nico Veit got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Evcilerspor's goalkeeper Tuğrul Özboga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavio Gonzo. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağlar Erakıncı, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çağlar Erakıncı in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocencio Veronica saved Rafaela FC from getting behind. Octavio Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when Evcilerspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metehan Kuntay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Veit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tuğrul Özboga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel-Jan Kerckmans to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Lluis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tuğrul Özboga was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rafaela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
