Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Burrell in the 8th minute of play. Aurelio Di Lullo was a little too slow when Garth Burrell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franco Sarnelli in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baykan Erincer saved DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO from getting behind. The supporters of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Stefano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Erik Huang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Wilbur Bain slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo. That made the score 3-0 after 22 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Correia came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Wilbur Bain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo, 4-0. Garth Burrell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. Erik Huang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Di Lullo came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik Huang slotted it home off the left post making it 8-0 in the 40th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Erik Huang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erik Huang really showed his touch with that goal: 9-0. 47 minutes into the game, Garth Burrell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Sarnelli made a kick off. In the 64th minute, Garth Burrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Di Lullo was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbur Bain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Wilbur Bain made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Di Lullo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Burrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Wilbur Bain came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khairil Swee scored 18-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
