After a rather tough play, Paradox FC's Arne Palmquist got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paradox FC's zone, Vlassis Mellios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eros André came out of the goal and Vlassis Mellios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Karagiotakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Lambis Kazantzakoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eros André saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Vlassis Mellios almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paradox FC's Eros André did a great save. Styrbjörn Stokken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Dahlkvist in the 18th minute of the match. Paradox FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Folke Dahlkvist in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Folke Dahlkvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Styrbjörn Stokken quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 22nd minute Göran Allbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Styrbjörn Stokken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eros André made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lambis Kazantzakoglou in the 25th minute of play. Eros André took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper Elssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aris Skilas charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aris Skilas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Aris Skilas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Styrbjörn Stokken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Löfgren in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Paradox FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lambis Kazantzakoglou came free, but Eros André reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Bernt Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when GREEK ARMY's Lambis Kazantzakoglou fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Vassilis Lazarakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of GREEK ARMY booed when Paradox FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute Arne Linberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Styrbjörn Stokken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lambis Kazantzakoglou to make the kick off. Paradox FC's Eros André played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Lazarakis in the 53rd minute of play. Grigoris Karagiotakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Omiros Rodanakis hit a great ball. With a little luck, GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken got control of the ball when Bernt Löfgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arne Linberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Styrbjörn Stokken made a huge save. When Vrasidas Drambas fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREEK ARMY's protests and gave Vrasidas Drambas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paradox FC booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vrasidas Drambas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eros André showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Lazarakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
