Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Níels Nesta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by CSKA's Níels Nesta. But to his dismay, Níels Nesta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Níels Nesta in the 9th minute of play forced S.João de Areias's goalkeeper Yusuf Ziya Sertaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute S.João de Areias were awarded a corner. Silvano Severo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 15th match minute, S.João de Areias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Godinho to maneuver through the defense. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Ruzicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Fatih Tekke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferenc van Nistelrooij stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Simon Mignolet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Níels Nesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Níels Nestas short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Yusuf Ziya Sertaç to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 59 minutes into the match, Ostap Babych notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Níels Nesta sent off a good shot on target. Danylo Ischuk hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Torcato Boaventura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.João de Areias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA the free kick. The supporters of CSKA booed when S.João de Areias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torcato Boaventura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anthimos Balopoulos. A collision led to S.João de Areias getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fatih Tekke hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilbert Ruzicki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. That made the score 0-5 in the 77 minute of play. CSKA's Simon Mignolet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc van Nistelrooij in the 83rd minute of play. Simon Mignolet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferenc van Nistelrooij, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save S.João de Areias from getting a goal against them.
