Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Fagerberg in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pål Sefastsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Henry Fagerberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pål Sefastsson was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Per Stenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Per Tunström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pål Sefastsson. National Team Cape-Verde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Tunström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ivar Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pål Sefastsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Melander came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Melander in the 26th minute of play. The National Team Cape-Verde fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when National Team Cape-Verde's Mariusz Snow looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şahap Özgu in the 33rd minute of the match. Henry Fagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Sefastsson having to interfere. The supporters of National Team Cape-Verde booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Hökqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

National Team Cape-Verde's Henrik Örnberg was substituted for Alex Broberg. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hjalmar Browald to make the kick off. National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, National Team Cape-Verde's Mariusz Snow got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute of the match, Fredric Melander tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Magne Gunnarsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 65thth minute of the game Fredric Melander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 70th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 71st minute of the match. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Rönnöfors FF from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when National Team Cape-Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Snow didn't get a good kick on the ball.
