Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Söderberg in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute Kaj Hård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Kaj Hård kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Hård in the 31st minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaj Hård made a kick off. The supporters of spikarna booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Glanselius didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 58 minutes on the clock, Simon Brolin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Marcus Ekrot went to the wrong direction when Atakan Pepe was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 61st minute of play. If Genaro Remicio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Kaj Hård was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. spikarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vykans Vikingar the free kick. A collision led to spikarna getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Kaj Hård hit a great ball. Vykans Vikingar's Alessandro Micucci was substituted for Faas Wilkes.
