Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Zhen Jian in the 4th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Gong Qi Fan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Zhen Jian in the 21st minute of play. If Gong Qi Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. Xiao Zhen Jian hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Börna Bulldogs made a substitution. Rob Lute replaced Ragnar Linquist. Andreas Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Micucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Bogren to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 43 minutes, Gong Qi Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Börna Bulldogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gong Qi Fan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Börna Bulldogs's Gong Qi Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Ekrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Micucci to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gong Qi Fan to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Börna Bulldogs's Gong Qi Fan. But to his dismay, Gong Qi Fan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 58th minute Börna Bulldogs were awarded a corner. Pawel Grabowicz went to the cornerflag to take it. Pawel Grabowicz made a great header on Börna Bulldogs's corner, it was just that Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot managed to reach the ball for a save. Gong Qi Fan might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Ekrot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gong Qi Fan ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gong Qi Fan. 63 minutes into the match, Börna Bulldogs's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Micucci came free, but Andreas Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Gong Qi Fan sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Xiao Zhen Jian made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Börna Bulldogs made a substitution. Vilgot Bålström replaced Rob Lute. Börna Bulldogs made a substitution. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Svahn in the 78th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 92 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pawel Grabowicz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Börna Bulldogs's Gong Qi Fan to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Ekrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcus Ekrot stood somewhat misplaced when Gong Qi Fan came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 93 minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Börna Bulldogs were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Vykans Vikingar side.
