The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adrian Springfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Vlahović in the 2nd minute of the match. Nytäppet Fc's Radomir Gerlach was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adrian Springfält in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, SJÖARED's Kenneth Kihlman got a free kick in the 17th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Giannis Chatziioannou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Springfält. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Sture Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Lang in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Nytäppet Fc got a corner. SJÖARED's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radomir Gerlach ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adrian Springfält was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dušan Vlahović showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Giannis Chatziioannous short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Adrian Springfält to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dušan Vlahović made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 53rd minute of play forced SJÖARED's goalkeeper Adrian Springfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helge Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SJÖARED's Urban Rudberg was substituted for Vidar Lang. SJÖARED made a substitution. Maxi Rodriguez replaced Tim Hellbom. Tobias Hedbom hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Sture Abrahamsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Lidman in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Nytäppet Fc got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Hedbom. In the 60th minute, Helge Gustafsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sture Abrahamsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson got control of the ball when Vilhelm Lidman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sture Abrahamsson made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Vilhelm Lidman sent off a good shot on target. Dušan Vlahović scored 3-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Springfält, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Urban Rudberg put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sture Abrahamsson. Sture Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Helge Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, SJÖARED's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahović came free, but Adrian Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Abrahamsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 91st minute.
