Arnaldo Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Lars Norberg made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lars Norberg, 2-0. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolli Bolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Holger Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Atakan Pepe came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Lagerberg in the 42nd minute of play. Lars Norberg was a little too slow when Nils-Åke Lagerberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bolli Bolla was the one to do the kick off. Rickard Alefors's late challenge caught a Hummerfiskarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rickard Alefors helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Alefors. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolli Bolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 54th minute of play. Arnaldo Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Norberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Queirós came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 60th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Sven Nordkvist. 72 minutes into the match, Andrea De Toro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars Norberg. spikarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrea De Toro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 77th minute of the match Hummerfiskarna got a corner. spikarna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florin Răducioiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rickard Malmström was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in spikarna's zone, Andrea De Toro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Norberg came out of the goal and Andrea De Toro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Andrea De Toro made a precise shot to the right of Lars Norberg. spikarna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Hummerfiskarna's Holger Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Hummerfiskarna from getting a goal against them. Niklas Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Hummerfiskarna's Andrea De Toro got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kaj Hård could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Holger Mattsson made a huge save.
