The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ban Noen Thua's goalkeeper Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juarês Vinhas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul having to make a save. Ban Noen Thua were furious when Worawut Makeh was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ban Noen Thua! If Juarês Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41stth minute of the game Juarês Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ban Noen Thua's Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuca Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuca Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pattapon Mongkolroi to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Pattapon Mongkolroi made a precise shot to the right of Adriano da Cunha. Cascaralhado F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Samuca Catarinense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cascaralhado F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cascaralhado F.C's Juarês Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juarês Vinhas got free with Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th match minute, Cascaralhado F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cascaralhado F.C booed when Ban Noen Thua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paradorn Boonjit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sivakan Moungchinda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano da Cunha having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Ban Noen Thua's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Catarinense came free, but Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pattapon Mongkolroi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute Pattapon Mongkolroi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pattapon Mongkolroi's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cascaralhado F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
