Ban Noen Thua's Sivakan Moungchinda got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ban Noen Thua's Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Ban Noen Thua from getting a goal against them. Corrado Imperatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thepchai Bunlued went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Alvaro Moscatelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devilteam's Alvaro Moscatelli got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Devilteam getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Claudio Corelli hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pattapon Mongkolroi in the 19th minute of play forced Devilteam's goalkeeper Corrado Imperatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Bernardo De Gregorio in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Alvaro Moscatelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paradorn Boonjit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Imperatore having to interfere. The Ban Noen Thua fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Ban Noen Thua's Pattapon Mongkolroi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alvaro Moscatelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

50 minutes into the game, Enzo Papa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Devilteam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ban Noen Thua the free kick. The supporters of Ban Noen Thua booed when Devilteam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Papa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes in the game, Paradorn Boonjit fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Corrado Imperatore having to interfere. Anselmo Benarrivo charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Benarrivo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anselmo Benarrivo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Pattapon Mongkolroi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Corrado Imperatore, passed just outside the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Devilteam:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ban Noen Thua:s goal. 66 minutes into the game, Bernardo De Gregorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corrado Imperatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paradorn Boonjit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pattapon Mongkolroi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Corrado Imperatore skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 76th minute, Ban Noen Thua's Paradorn Boonjit dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Anselmo Benarrivo was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Alvaro Moscatelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Alessio Taraborrelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ban Noen Thua's Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ekphong Jansri during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ekphong Jansri hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Alvaro Moscatelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ban Noen Thua supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ban Noen Thua would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
