The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Corrado Imperatore made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Pattapon Mongkolroi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ban Noen Thua booed when Devilteam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Papa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Enzo Papa came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Devilteam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Papa couldn't finish the play. Thepchai Bunlued hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Devilteam's Corrado Imperatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paradorn Boonjit in the 14th minute of play. Claudio Corelli hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Pattapon Mongkolroi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Corrado Imperatore when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Corrado Imperatore didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ban Noen Thua's Paradorn Boonjit shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Devilteam getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Anselmo Benarrivo hit a great ball. Daniele Santini hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo De Gregorio made a kick off. Alvaro Moscatelli struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Devilteam. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paradorn Boonjit in the 65th minute of play forced Devilteam's goalkeeper Corrado Imperatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boonchoo Rusameeleelakul was a little too slow when Bernardo De Gregorio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 77th minute, Pattapon Mongkolroi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
