The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Almeida got free with Eusebio Baumar in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Urbano Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Invensibles fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when FC Invensibles's Martin Crispo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dráusio Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Santikurtz went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. FC Invensibles's Urbano Vermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urbano Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Crispo to make the kick off. Martin Crispo in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dráusio Ferreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eusebio Baumar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anderson Barbosa went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Manha's Anderson Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Barbosa in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Invensibles's goalkeeper Eusebio Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Baumar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Eusebio Baumar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Almeida in the 76th minute of play. If Nestor Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Barbosa in the 80th minute of play forced FC Invensibles's goalkeeper Eusebio Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Crispo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Ferreira saved Manha from getting behind. Martin Crispo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Dráusio Ferreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Nestor Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Baumar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Manha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
