Maximiliano Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kacper Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Ugaitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Celedonio Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermin Hulberto made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ermegildo Rodriguez sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Tigre's zone, Froilan Eusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kacper Tobias came out of the goal and Froilan Eusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Ricardo Liberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Tobias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kacper Tobias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Eusko in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A. Quilmes's Froilan Eusko got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Eusko in the 37th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Kacper Tobias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Paolo Gagriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Tigre's goalkeeper Kacper Tobias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Liberto. 67 minutes into the match, Paolo Gagriel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fermin Hulberto. C.A. Quilmes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Gagriel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Gagriel in the 78th minute of play forced C.A. Quilmes's goalkeeper Fermin Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, Tigre's Paolo Gagriel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Hulberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.A. Quilmes's Fermin Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Gagriel in the 82nd minute of play. Tadeo Oriche struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Fermin Hulberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Rodriguez in the 91st minute of play forced C.A. Quilmes's goalkeeper Fermin Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Liberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Froilan Eusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kacper Tobias having to interfere.
The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tigre fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A. Quilmes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
