The supporters of Afyon İdman Yurdu booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Boros Benedek got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes, Afyon İdman Yurdu's Jakub Gonsiewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fodor Daniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Afyon İdman Yurdu reached it. The audience was convinced that Oswaldo Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Fatih Yalım in the 79th minute of the match. Afyon İdman Yurdu's Semavi Özguven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Afyon İdman Yurdu from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute Oswaldo Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
