Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Viriato Moura made the kick off which started today's match. In the 10th minute, Abelardo da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buritama Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Buritama Sports from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Felipe Barreto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Murilo Ferreira to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the game, Buritama Sports's Wang Wei Sha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 32nd minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Buritama Sports's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Portugal's Fabricio Andrade to fire away a dangerous shot which Murilo Ferreira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Fabricio Andrade sped through Buritama Sports's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murilo Ferreira. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murilo Ferreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Amauri Peixoto got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Caetano Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murilo Ferreira. Buritama Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Soeiro in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Nuno Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute Graciano Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Graciano Coutinho scored 4-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Murilo Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. After 71 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan de Lara. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 78th minute of play. A hard shot 81 in the game by Doriva Souto from a close distance when the talented Wilson Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Portugal's players were relieved. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Buritama Sports's Doriva Souto. But to his dismay, Doriva Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graciano Coutinho in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
