Sir Alexandria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorin Mercescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tzonyo Viyachki came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germany's attentive Linus Schwerner managed to snatch the ball when Dong Sang Kun made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. If Tzonyo Viyachki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzonyo Viyachki in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tzonyo Viyachki came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sir Alexandria were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dorin Mercescu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dorin Mercescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bogdan Şimandan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tzonyo Viyachki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Cyprian Domala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dong Sang Kun kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Frank Sachs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Şimandan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes Sir Alexandria got a freekick which was hit by Dong Sang Kun. 46 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Şimandan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tzonyo Viyachki was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sir Alexandria got a freekick which was hit by Tzonyo Viyachki. After 53 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sir Alexandria's goalkeeper Bogdan Şimandan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bogdan Şimandan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Şimandan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute Ernest Albu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Sir Alexandria's Tzonyo Viyachki made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the game, Dong Sang Kun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sir Alexandria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The supporters of Germany booed when Sir Alexandria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dong Sang Kun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Sir Alexandria got a freekick which was hit by Dong Sang Kun. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Tzonyo Viyachki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tzonyo Viyachki really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Tzonyo Viyachki's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tzonyo Viyachki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Tzonyo Viyachki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
