Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 41st minute of play. Felipe Barreto made a great header on Portugal's corner, it was just that Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira managed to reach the ball for a save. Murilo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caetano Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Ricardo Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolomeu Dias got free with Murilo Ferreira in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Abelardo da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buritama Sports's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 84 minutes, Abelardo da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buritama Sports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Vítor Leão hit a great ball. Daniel Pimentel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Murilo Ferreira made a huge save. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo da Fonseca in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Abelardo da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buritama Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The Portugal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Buritama Sports from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
