Barbudos FC's Iacob Coidum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 3rd minute of play. Iacob Coidum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eikelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game David Eikelkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbudos FC's Iacob Coidum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Barbudos FC's Dionisio Chorche got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 41 minutes, Wim Wilmes made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Barbudos FC's Iacob Coidum tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 47 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Benedicto Bihar made the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Bihar might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Netherlands fully deserved thier win.
