An unexpectedly hard shot by Costica Vladimiri in the 14th minute of play forced Illusion FC's goalkeeper Hayri Kainat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Illusion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Costica Vladimiri came free, but Hayri Kainat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Adam Olaru notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Illusion FC's Hayri Kainat. In the 30th minute, Adam Olaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Illusion FC's Rodion Cămătaru in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Steevy Springfälts short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Carol Stinga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Olaru made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Olaru in the 52nd minute of play forced Illusion FC's goalkeeper Hayri Kainat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Illusion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Dähne to maneuver through the defense. Romania's Sanda Cutov got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romania's Octavian Vaduva was substituted for Costica Vladimiri. Hayri Kainat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavian Vaduva in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Stinga in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Illusion FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lars-Erik Carlsson in the 89th minute. The corner ended in Ronny Mickelsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Romania's Carol Stinga did a great save. With his leg Hayri Kainat managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Romania's Octavian Vaduva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
