Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Oprescu in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Frumușanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dinu Oardă could save by the left post. The supporters of Netherlands booed when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin 雷岩 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dinu Oardă firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 24th minute, Ernest Oprescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 28 minutes in the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dinu Oardă having to interfere. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Oardă having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Oardă came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 42nd minute of the match.

Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 51st minute of play. Liviu Frumușanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Oardă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Dinu Oardă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinu Oardă. Dinu Oardă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Frumușanu in the 69th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but David Eikelkamp advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-1 in the 78th minute. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ernest Oprescu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Victor Lucila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Netherlands's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
