The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Marvin Palencia sent off a good shot on target. In the 19thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrella Roatan's Ronald Castaneda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selvin Ocampo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronald Castaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 22nd minute of the match. Diego Victorino made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Shawn Barquero. 26 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Moreira came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronald Castaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 33rd minute of play forced Estrella Roatan's goalkeeper Ronald Castaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marvin Palencia got free with Keld Paulsen in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Castaneda having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Moreira to make the kick off. The supporters of Denmark booed when Estrella Roatan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félix Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Diego Victorino in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estrella Roatan reached it. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Moreira in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selvin Ocampo in the 83rd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Shawn Barquero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Estrella Roatan's goal looked a bit too open when Olav Graversen came free, but Ronald Castaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgar Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronald Castaneda was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Chris Nygaard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chris Nygaard really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2.
