Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Freddy Menendo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Boros Benedek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Menendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Trabzonspor's Harun Umur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 25th minute of play. Harun Umur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 28th minute of play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Menendo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harun Umur having to interfere. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Harun Umur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vefa Dafi in the 37th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Veli Şahinkan came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match Trabzonspor got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Berkant Akıncıbey ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Paolo Nesta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Takacs Tibor. Freddy Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harun Umur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harun Umur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Freddy Menendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Trabzonspor's Freddy Menendo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Menderes Taif left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzonspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 沈翔珂 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harun Umur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Harun Umur firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Hungary booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raşit Ahsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Trabzonspor had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
