In the 5th minute of the match, Zsigmond Tímár got a very nice opportunity to score, but Casper Claes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Han Xiao Ting having to interfere. Casper Claes was a little too slow when Géza Tótfalusi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsigmond Tímár in the 17th minute of play. When Sander Dermaut fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgium's protests and gave Sander Dermaut a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imre Szívós to maneuver through the defense. Lenny Clocheret's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Han Xiao Ting read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Belgium's Yves Dervaux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Han Xiao Ting narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsigmond Tímár in the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Zsigmond Tímár tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Han Xiao Ting in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 45 played minutes Green Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Lóránt Saághy. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Sander Dermaut hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yves Dervaux made a kick off. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsigmond Tímár, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 62 played minutes Green Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Roland Magos. The supporters of Belgium booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Magos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Green Zombies's Han Xiao Ting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 63rd minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Walter Carter scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Siebe Michiels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Han Xiao Ting made a huge save. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harun Mustafa in the 87th minute of the match. Walter Carter struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Zombies.
