Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off and thus started the match. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Trabzonspor's Veli Şahinkan. But to his dismay, Veli Şahinkan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Harun Umur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harun Umur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harun Umur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Menderes Taif got free with Arnout Reekers in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Vefa Dafi scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 2-1. After some careless play in the Trabzonspor defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harun Umur. The Trabzonspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harun Umur should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when 沈翔珂 got free with Arnout Reekers in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by 沈翔珂 in the 36th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harun Umur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Harun Umur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Irinel Voicescu got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vefa Dafi in the 79th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Harun Umur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 84 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Harun Umur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veli Şahinkan in the 86th minute of play. Netherlands:s Arnout Reekers showed great skill when he stopped Karadeniz Ankara:s penalty. Harun Umur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Eikelkamp's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Harun Umur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 98th minute of play.
