Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adam Olaru took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ingemar Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A throw-in in the 10th minute of the game was made by Cosmin Barbulescu with Alex Serban as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Adam Olaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Åberg having to interfere. In the 19th minute Romania were awarded a corner. Adam Olaru went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Romania's corner Adam Olaru fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ingemar Åberg quite easily take care of the ball. Ingemar Åberg made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Costica Vladimiri sent off a good shot on target. Cosmin Barbulescu made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta. In the 26th minute, Adam Olaru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ingemar Åberg. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 29th minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Romania's Costica Vladimiri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingemar Åberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Romania's Costica Vladimiri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ingemar Åberg. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Serban in the 40th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Ingemar Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingemar Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 42nd minute of the match. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes Romania's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Näver who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Protegéerna's Michael Näver to fire away a dangerous shot which Carol Stinga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eugen Ionita hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Petter Skarkman made the kick off in the second half. Protegéerna's Yasen Súlov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vasile Ciumak in the 53 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Python got free with Carol Stinga in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Romania's Carol Stinga got control of the ball when Guido Python tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costica Vladimiri in the 62nd minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Ingemar Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasile Ciumak hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Romania made a substitution. Octavian Vaduva replaced Costica Vladimiri. Protegéerna made a substitution. Christer Nyberg replaced Guido Python. After 65 played minutes Romania got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Ciumak. In the 66th minute, Petter Skarkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carol Stinga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Protegéerna made a substitution. Bo Låsberg replaced Fernando Arango. 70 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Pangratiu came free, but Ingemar Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Protegéerna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sanda Cutov was slow to take the kick. During this time Romania's players had a chance to rest. Carol Stinga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christer Nyberg's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 82nd minute Anton Stinga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Protegéerna's Carol Stinga threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christer Nyberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alexandru Pangratiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ingemar Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingemar Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasvan Cristescu in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Romania fully deserved thier win.
