Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Castaneda having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Estrella Roatan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Palencia to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Marvin Palencia came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Edgar Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slovakia's Henrich Slany was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Barquero in the 21st minute of the match. Marvin Palencia took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ronald Castaneda made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Metod Mlynar sent off a good shot on target. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félix Reyes in the 30th minute of the match. When Saul Reyes fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrella Roatan's protests and gave Saul Reyes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Estrella Roatan getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Saul Reyes hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Pavol Koleno sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Estrella Roatan's Ronald Castaneda didn't even have to move. Edgar Moreira scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrich Slany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrich Slany. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Metod Mlynar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronald Castaneda. Estrella Roatan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Metod Mlynar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Metod Mlynar to strike the kick off in the second half. Estrella Roatan's Marvin Palencia got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Metod Mlynar fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Metod Mlynar a yellow card for diving instead. Metod Mlynar hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a free kick in the 59th minute. Slovakia's attack was well implemented in the 63rd minute, but when Metod Mlynar was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. With an all-out effort, Estrella Roatan's Henrich Slany threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Félix Reyes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marvin Palencia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. Slovakia's Daniel Suchy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diego Victorino, made in the 73rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Marvin Palencia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 85 in the game by Marvin Palencia from a close distance when the talented Henrich Slany managed to make a qualified save. Slovakia's players were relieved. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Félix Reyes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marvin Palencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Estrella Roatan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Slovakia.
