The wind increased when Wojciech Kosiorek made the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Janusz Fafinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Izydor Trynda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Janusz Fafinski in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 84 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute of the game Leon Juszkowski made a throw-in which Lucjan Zalipski played forward. Janusz Fafinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Germany left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W.
