Marvin Palencia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilija Skugor. Croatia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Félix Reyes sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félix Reyes in the 60th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selvin Ocampo in the 61st minute of play. Ilija Skugor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marvin Palencia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 63 minute of play. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félix Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Félix Reyes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. With his leg Ilija Skugor managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Estrella Roatan's Marvin Palencia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marvin Palencia got free with Ilija Skugor in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Moreira in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Selvin Ocampo made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. The Croatia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Estrella Roatan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
