Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Gianluigi Buffon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Rodrigues in the 20th minute of play. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute of the match Apocalipse FC got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Rodrigues ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aírton Zanette hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Nico Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apocalipse FC. Chris Nygaard in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gianluigi Buffon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Sérgio Machado fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apocalipse FC's protests and gave Sérgio Machado a yellow card for diving instead. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chris Nygaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gianluigi Buffon having to make a save. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Denmark booed when Apocalipse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Nygaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gianluigi Buffon. Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Buffon having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Apocalipse FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Rodrigues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Keld Paulsen. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Rodrigues got free with Keld Paulsen in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Chris Nygaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcos Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Apocalipse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 88th minute of play. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Dieguinho Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. The Apocalipse FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
