Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After 3 minutes, Bruno Maranzano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S. Udinese and the Spain players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bruno Maranzano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the A.S. Udinese defense, Adria Bielsa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Rotili. The A.S. Udinese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Rotili should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Zoccali. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Bottone in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Alexander Bottone took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gabriel Ascaso to make any attempt to save it. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 14th minute of play. Omar Toledo took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Rotili. Alvaro Rotili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Alexander Bottone sent off a good shot on target. Spain's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Alexander Bottone scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Ascaso, making the score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Zoccali in the 27th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Alexander Bottone sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, one of Spain:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alexander Bottone took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Ascaso. Gabriel Ascaso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Alexander Bottone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvaro Rotili came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's David Aranda. But to his dismay, David Aranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Adria Bielsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Zoccali, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-3. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Zoccali in the 56th minute of play. Alberigo Di Franco made a great header on A.S. Udinese's corner, it was just that Spain's Gabriel Ascaso managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, A.S. Udinese's Edmondo Giorda got a free kick in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Alessio Zoccali put it in 5-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Alexander Bottone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. When Alessio Zoccali came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the A.S. Udinese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessio Zoccali couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Rotili was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Carles Cherro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carles Cherro really showed his touch with that goal: 5-4. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. After 83 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Di Franco. After 87 minutes A.S. Udinese's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jon Cubero who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Spain's Sergio Ruiz to a score. 5-5 in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Zoccali in the 96th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Spain players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented A.S. Udinese from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
