Gust Ennemans kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 7th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th minute, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Pankracy Nienajadlo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pankracy Nienajadlo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gocław Wilga Warszawa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pankracy Nienajadlo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 18th match minute, Gocław Wilga Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Nienajadlo to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Bjurström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 20th minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 23rd minute when Wim Wilmes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ivar Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Gocław Wilga Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Froněk. The throw-in from Gust Ennemans in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Wincenty Walczak. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's attentive Wincenty Walczak managed to snatch the ball when Gust Ennemans made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Ivar Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 38th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 51st minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Ivar Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the game Mathijn Doctor made a throw-in which Gustaaf Groeneveldt played forward. Thanks to some nice moves Wim Wilmes could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Ivar Bjurström however easily saved by the left post. Ivar Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 64th minute of play. Ivar Bjurström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 72nd minute. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Ivar Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 75th minute of play. Cezary Lichorobiec struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gocław Wilga Warszawa. Ivar Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kees Mooiweer made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Egbert Nijveldt immediately put the ball in play. 87 minutes into the match, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Ivar Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Gocław Wilga Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Lichorobiec. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gocław Wilga Warszawa throughout the match.
