In the 38th minute of the match, Ramachandramurthy Bonaparte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Yu Guang De blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Yu Guang De took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. When Damazy Tepper came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Weronka Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Tepper couldn't finish the play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Tepper in the 56th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoph Gyselinx's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoph Gyselinx helped the player get up and apologised. Christoph Gyselinx hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
