Art Hauschildt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 8th minute of play. Titipounamu's Kees Van Bever managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodolfo Miranda in the 9 minute of the game. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Sayveon in the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Titipounamu's Nando Pereira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Nando Pereira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Art Hauschildt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Titipounamu's Maximilian Larsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 4-0 after 25 minutes of play. After 28 played minutes Maximilian Larsson rounded Portugal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. After a rather tough play, Titipounamu's Edson Mendes got a free kick in the 35th minute. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Art Hauschildt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Caetano to maneuver through the defense. Titipounamu's Vincente Santiago quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda, made in the 43rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Sayveon in the 46th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 48th minute of play forced Titipounamu's goalkeeper Art Hauschildt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Pereira came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Melchor Sayveon was slow to take the kick. During this time Titipounamu's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Melchor Sayveon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. 55 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Pereira came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Nando Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute of the game Shawn Michaels made a throw-in which Nando Pereira played forward. The throw-in from Graciano Coutinho in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Titipounamu's Kees Van Bever. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Art Hauschildt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Pereira in the 72nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Art Hauschildt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Titipounamu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nando Pereira scored 6-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Titipounamu's Remington Dobson was substituted for Maximilian Larsson. 84 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Art Hauschildt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Titipounamu's Art Hauschildt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 90th minute of play. Art Hauschildt made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. After 94 minutes Titipounamu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Pimentel who took care of the corner kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Titipounamu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! In the 97th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Daniel Pimentel went to the cornerflag to take it. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
