Hieronim Dziurowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Poremba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Varsovia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antoni Poremba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 32nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antoni Poremba was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Klement Sitko hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Niemojewski was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Niemojewski in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Wladyslaw Oborski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Niemojewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Major Barna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varsovia the free kick. Stefan Niemojewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Stefan Niemojewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varsovia's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Niemojewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
