After having played for 19 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Martien Sandstra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martien Sandstra really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martien Sandstra in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mo Yang Chao got free with Tommy Kahn in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roeland van Zaanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martien Sandstra in the 40th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mo Yang Chao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martien Sandstra scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute Martien Sandstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. In the 86th minute Kelmond S.C. were awarded a corner. Kevin Oosterveld went to the cornerflag to take it. After 88th play minutes Frank Sachs shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Pedrão Sarmento and just under the crossbar into goal. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kelmond S.C..
