But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Cote couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Lars Meesters slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francesco Marines. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Francesco Marines firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 81 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antoni Majusiak who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mo Si Sha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francesco Marines quite easily take care of the ball. Antoni Majusiak hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
