Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tod McCartney made the kick off and thus started the match. The nice shot from Francis Curtis in the 3rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Tommy Kahn had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The Stickleback Utd Xl fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Stickleback Utd Xl's Francis Curtis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rony Schmidt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Rony Schmidt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Brian Hutchins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stickleback Utd Xl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The supporters of Germany booed when Stickleback Utd Xl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Hutchins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germany's Frank Sachs couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stickleback Utd Xl. After 13 played minutes Stickleback Utd Xl got a freekick which was hit by Tod McCartney. Benji Browne got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Francis Curtis. In the 22nd minute Tod McCartney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. Rony Schmidt came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Tod McCartney took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Francis Curtis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francis Curtis in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod McCartney in the 54th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. After 58 minutes of play, Stickleback Utd Xl's Francis Curtis made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Stickleback Utd Xl's Rony Schmidt. But to his dismay, Rony Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Stickleback Utd Xl's Huey Blackwater was substituted for Benji Browne. In the 69th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Stickleback Utd Xl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier managed to reach the ball for a save. With his leg Sly Collier managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Germany's Ulrich Stein fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Sly Collier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Sly Collier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sly Collier having to make a save. After 94 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. When the referee ended the match the Stickleback Utd Xl players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
