Black Express's Hugon Drab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes Black Express's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Takacs Tibor to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugon Drab despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zygmunt Budarz charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zygmunt Budarz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Black Express was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zygmunt Budarz to maneuver through the defense. Hugon Drab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The supporters of Black Express booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugon Drab was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th match minute, Black Express was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Setara to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Piatek in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 47th minute of play forced Black Express's goalkeeper Hugon Drab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Izydor Piatek made a kick off. Zygmunt Budarz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Hugon Drab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Black Express's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugon Drab came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hugon Drab made a huge save. In the 64thth minute of the game Izydor Piatek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Borys Walkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafal Domaradzki's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafal Domaradzki helped the player get up and apologised. Hungary made a substitution. Balogh Bela replaced Boros Benedek. A collision led to Black Express getting a freekick after 79 minutes play.
