A collision led to White Eagles FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gregers Leinøe hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in White Eagles FC's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garry Cobb came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Cobb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, White Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Garry Cobb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boros Benedek kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 minutes, Bakos Endre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the White Eagles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hungary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, White Eagles FC's Sammy Clayson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fodor Daniel.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gez Eyre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, White Eagles FC's Garry Cobb got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Takacs Tibor put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Garry Cobb. Steve Buckley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Garry Cobb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the White Eagles FC defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garry Cobb.
