In the 46th minute, Raul Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Raul Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Raul Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Raul Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. In the 60th match minute, SC Freiburg 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Carmo to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Leal in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Raul Leal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but SC Freiburg 09 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
