Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Portugal booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Åkerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graciano Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Melberg in the 6th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Di Röe getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Urban Åkerberg hit a great ball. Sten Melberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Melberg came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Portugal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Di Röe:s goal. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Kristiansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Moreira went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Portugal's Bruno Bastos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Conny Bjursell in the 34 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 35th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Fabricio Andrade in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Di Röe's Conny Bjursell. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Di Röe's Sten Melberg. But to his dismay, Sten Melberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Melberg made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Melberg came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Sten Melberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Di Röe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Sten Melberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 61st minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Di Röe made a substitution. Sven-Arne Olsson replaced Elliot Kellbom. Di Röe's Conny Ronaldo was substituted for Edu Loss. The Di Röe fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Di Röe's Romeo Gologan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romeo Gologan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Jens Åkerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 minutes Di Röe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Pimentel who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Fabricio Andrade heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a defensive mix-up in Di Röe's zone, Bartolomeu Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Kristiansson came out of the goal and Bartolomeu Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Herman Benett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Di Röe's supporters rose to their feet, but Herman Benett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartolomeu Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Sven-Arne Olsson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Urban Åkerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim in the 92nd minute of play. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
