Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Volta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Volta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 10th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 11th minute. Alberto Volta came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jucunditas's Alberto Volta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 28th minute of play forced Jucunditas's goalkeeper Alberto Volta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes Jucunditas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Alberto Volta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Flavio Pascucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Jucunditas's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Alberto Volta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Volta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathijn Doctor lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 43rd minute, one of Netherlands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. The goalkeeper, Arnout Reekers, was totally fooled by Jucunditas's Thomas Bergfelt, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davide Cremonese made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Eikelkamp got free with Alberto Volta in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Pasin in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Volta came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 55th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Jucunditas's Alberto Volta got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Volta having to interfere. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Jucunditas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Pasin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Volta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 78th minute. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Volta having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alberto Volta could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 83rd minute of play forced Jucunditas's goalkeeper Alberto Volta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Volta came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Lars Meesters. But to his dismay, Lars Meesters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Jucunditas's Alberto Volta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Jucunditas from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alberto Volta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Jucunditas getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Amerigo Renzetti hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Volta. Jucunditas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.
