Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felix Vennersten took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match, Kennet Boklund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Ahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Ove Eliasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Eliasson having to interfere. Felix Vennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Sundberg in the 30th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Boklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Liden FF's Sven-Ove Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 40th minute of play. Felix Vennersten might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Vennersten ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennet Boklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Ove Eliasson. Sven-Ove Eliasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Germany were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Ove Eliasson saved Liden FF from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Kennet Boklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Kennet Boklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Ove Eliasson having to make a save. 71 minutes into the game, Liden FF's Kennet Boklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With his leg Sven-Ove Eliasson managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Germany booed when Liden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidar Vikström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Ove Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 79th minute of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute Rasmus Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Liden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidar Vikström to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Eliasson having to interfere. Germany's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
