Tommy Kahn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Baraboi. Carlos Alberto Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Emil Juravschi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Juravschi in the 39th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Juravschi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Alberto Salgado having to make a save. UFC Puturoasa's Carlos Alberto Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 70th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Scobioalã, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Juravschi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Baraboi in the 77th minute of play. When George Baraboi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tommy Kahn was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Germany booed when UFC Puturoasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Salgado having to interfere. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Scobioalã, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, George Baraboi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. UFC Puturoasa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
