KINGS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 6th minute, Sigfrido Auletta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KINGS FC's Leal Simões didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Tálas in the 11th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leal Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 12th minute of play. Manuel Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes KINGS FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Carneiro. After 19 played minutes KINGS FC got a freekick which was hit by Acun Mertkal. 20 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leal Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leal Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jānis Blūms got free with Flavio Vittori in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leal Simões. Leal Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Valadão came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leal Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jānis Blūms in the 36th minute of the match. Porziano Marchitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Leal Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, KINGS FC's Leal Simões got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sostene Vitulli kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. KINGS FC made a substitution. Cássio Calçada replaced Jānis Blūms. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. With an all-out effort, Italy's Leal Simões threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adriano Curto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Calçada in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Adriano Curto made a precise shot to the right of Leal Simões. KINGS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
