The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of İki Gözümün Çiçeği booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. İzzet Akşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 17th minute of play. A hard shot 22 in the game by Murathan Paye from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. İzzet Akşit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that İki Gözümün Çiçeği's İzzet Akşit managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 34th match minute, İki Gözümün Çiçeği was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferit İncesu to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Murathan Paye showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when İki Gözümün Çiçeği was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferit İncesu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Murathan Paye quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Murathan Paye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Murathan Paye who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. İki Gözümün Çiçeği's Gencal Sazak got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, İki Gözümün Çiçeği's Murathan Paye nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Malte Schiele charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malte Schiele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. If Murathan Paye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Murathan Paye had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murathan Paye was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İzzet Akşit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Murathan Paye notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Fahrettin Rasim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Fahrettin Rasim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Murathan Paye had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murathan Paye was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. İki Gözümün Çiçeği's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
