Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Buffalo Timişoara's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 15th minute of play. The corner led Buffalo Timişoara's Orhan Ortanca to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 19 minutes, Victor Neicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buffalo Timişoara and the Belgium players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victor Neicu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Casper Claes was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Emil Banciu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emil Banciu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Buffalo Timişoara were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orhan Ortanca took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Orhan Ortanca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Alisson Becker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Chibulcutean. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 33rd minute of play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Benitez in the 35th minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alisson Becker having to make a save. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Alisson Becker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Buffalo Timişoara's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 46th minute of play. Franky Ooms scored 3-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Benitez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Benitez came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Chibulcutean's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Chibulcutean helped the player get up and apologised. Pavel Chibulcutean kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Buffalo Timişoara's Alisson Becker got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Alisson Becker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Alisson Becker made a huge save. Buffalo Timişoara's Alisson Becker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Buffalo Timişoara from getting a goal against them. Buffalo Timişoara made a substitution. Maxim Pintilie replaced Victor Neicu. The corner ended in Valentin Voicu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. After some careless play in the Buffalo Timişoara defense, Yves Dervaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alisson Becker. The Buffalo Timişoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alisson Becker should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Benitez in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto Benitez hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Augusto Benitez fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Benitez in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rahman Attar hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Alisson Becker threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Edward Vanderstraeten this time. With a little luck, Buffalo Timişoara's Alisson Becker got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alisson Becker made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Yves Dervaux sent off a good shot on target. Augusto Benitez succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgium players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Buffalo Timişoara.
